Chopard's Museum, the L.U.CEUM

Emblematic models

  • L.U.C Collection

The L.U.C collection tastefully embodies a refined blend of contemporary design, innovative technology and traditional craftsmanship. Entirely conceived, developed and crafted in the Chopard workshops in Fleurier and in Geneva, these timepieces reflect the highest qualities of the art of mechanical watchmaking and bear the unmistakable hallmark of excellence.
Nine different families of calibres have been developed so far, comprising such high complication mechanisms as a tourbillon, a column wheel chronograph and a perpetual calendar movement.
The “L.U.C 150 All-in-One" is by far the most complex model in the L.U.C collection. It comprises several complications: equation of time, perpetual calendar and tourbillon.

  • Classic Racing Collection

The passion for “Classic Racing”, a world to which Chopard has been linked for more than 20 years, drives the 1000 Miglia, Grand Prix de Monaco Historique and Jacky Ickx collections of sports chronographs. Each of these three distinctive product ranges pays tribute to the spirit of classic motor sport, mechanical engineering and precision.
The most famous is the “1000 Miglia” collection which was launched in 1988 and shows the close link with this classic Italian automobile race, where Chopard is an official sponsor.

  • Happy Diamonds Collection

1976 is the year when Chopard first made diamonds dance and created a Happy Diamond watch where diamonds could enjoy total freedom of movement, unfettered by any metal whatsoever. A dial between two sapphire watch crystals, surrounded by diamonds in free play, lends a special glow to each second and opens a new dimension to the value of the passing of time… Considered right from its launching as an avant-garde concept, the first Happy Diamonds watch received a major professional accolade by way of the “International Diamonds Award” and the “Golden Rose” of Baden-Baden. These important tokens of recognition, confirmed by widespread public acclaim, paved the way for the development of a whole range of gents’ and ladies' watches, along with jewels.
The Happy Diamonds collection is an immediately recognisable and constantly renewed classic.

  • Happy Sport Collection

First presented in 1993, the Happy Sport watch is one of Chopard’s great classics. Contemporary, urban, sophisticated, exuberant, conquering, resistant and sporty, Happy Sport blithely unites a host of qualities that have earned it worldwide success. This watch set the watch world on its heels by the freedom it displayed in daring to combine steel with diamonds. Building on its success, this sporting and precious model has given rise to many variations. Whether round, square or oval, in mini or maxi sizes or its chronograph version, it appeals to everybody and leads the ranks of horological success stories. The Happy Sport watch contributed to giving a new image of the famous Happy Diamonds concept.
