He studied, among other skills:

  • - Goldsmith at Academy of Applied Science, Hanau (Germany)
  • - Gemology at DGemG, Idar Oberstein (Germany)
  • - Diamant Grading at DGemG, Idar Oberstein (Germany)
  • - Jewelry Design at GIA, New York (USA)
  • - Business-Studies at University of Applied Sciences, Wiesbaden (Germany)

Internship “Les Ambassadeurs”, Bahnhofstreet, Zürich and Rue du Rhône, Geneva (Switzerland)

WILHELM STOESS

Fine jewels and watches since 1886

Wilhelm Stoess opened its doors to the city of Berlin in 1886. Within the first generation, Wilhelm Stoess, founder and Wolfgang's great-grandfather, established it as a boutique renowned for fine jewelry. His son successfully maintained the goldsmith shop until the Second World War. In the wake of the devastation, he relocated the business to Wiesbaden in 1946. Now in its fourth generation, Wilhelm Stoess remains in Wiesbaden within a wonderful neoclassical building. On two newly renovated floors, we offer a full range of services including watch-making, goldsmithing, jewelry-design and gemology.
