• Linea 32mm Quartz   

This year marks the introduction of a quartz movement in a 32mm Linea stainless steel case that offers hours, minutes and seconds hands. Also new this year is a striking trapezoidal bezel setting that offers even more distinction. These evocative new pieces house a Swiss quartz caliber, with date display at 6:00. Varying degrees of diamonds – from an unset version to a full-set bezel – offer greater choice.
Each Linea 32mm quartz watch is artfully created with an alternating polished and satined finish as on the stainless steel case, bezel and bracelet.  Each elegantly curved piece features the integrated iconic case-to-bracelet look that offers sleek styling and superb comfort. In addition to the bracelet with triple folding security clasp, each watch comes with an additional, easily interchangeable black strap –calfskin or satin – with pin buckle to ensure different looks to suit different moods or occasions. Each watch features an engraved bezel, and a scratch-resistant domed sapphire crystal and a case back with four screws that can possibly be personalized with engraving.  The new Linea 32mm quartz watches are water resistant to 5 ATM (approx  50 meters).

• New Bracelet for Men’s Hampton (Hampton 10047, 10048)

While the Hampton line garners additional models for 2012, the most scintillating news comes in the form of a new bracelet for two men’s automatic timepieces.  Measuring 45 x 32.3 mm, the new watches house the self-winding ETA 2895 caliber with 27 jewels, and offer a small seconds counter at 6:00 and a date display at 3:00.  The new integrated bracelet design features polished- and satin-finished steel links and a triple folding security  clasp. The watches are equipped with anti-glare and scratch-resistant shaped sapphire crystals and decorated case backs, fixed with four screws, which can be engraved to celebrate special moments.  Water resistant to 5 ATM (approx. 50 meters), the newest watches are a bold statement in urban chic attire. 
The Hampton 10047 features a silver-colored dial with a combination of sun satin-finished and opaline zones.  The dial is bedecked with riveted Arabic numerals and entrancing blued steel hands. The Hampton 10048 features a dial with a combination of sun satin-finished anthracite and opaline black zones.  The dial is bedecked with riveted Arabic numerals and entrancing rhodium-plated hands.

• Capeland auto chrono receives 44mm case (Capeland 10063, 10065, 10067)

A new 44mm case size is being proffered on five alluring chronographs. Each housing an automatic La Joux-Perret 8120 chronograph caliber, the new look offers bold, but easy-to-wear distinction. In addition to the more generous case size, these newest watches will boast new complementary two-tone colors for the dials. Among the diversified and intriguing offerings are a silver-colored dial with blue telemeter, and a trendy blue & black dial in response for the increased demand in men’s watches for blue. These dials offer Arabic numerals, Superluminova* dots and tipped hands. Each of these 44mm watches retains much-coveted characteristics indicative of the Capeland line, such as polished and satin-finished steel cases, antiglare and scratch-resistant domed sapphire crystal, but also new watchmaking attributes such as adjustable folding security buckle and sapphire crystal case back secured with six screws, which reveals th decorated oscillating weight with PHI symbol.  Each is water resistant to 50 meters.
The Capeland 10063 features a sun satin-finished and snailed silver-colored dial with blue telemeter, black tachymeter, and Arabic numerals. The strap is blue alligator. 
The Capeland 10065 is bedecked with a sun satin-finished blue and snailed black dial, with red telemeter, white tachymeter and Arabic numerals. It is accented with a black alligator strap with adjustable triple folding security buckle.

• Capeland 42 and 44mm get specially designed metal bracelet (Capeland 10061, 10062, 10064, 10066)

A specific selection of both 42mm and 44mm bracelet automatic chronograph watches are now being endowed with a new integrated polished and satin-finished metal bracelet with curved links and triple folding security clasp that remains totally respectful of the Capeland’s core design codes. The new system is not only safer and more secure, but also is incredibly easy to open thanks to it generous ergonomic curve.  The bracelet offers comfort and yet accentuates the sport-chic appeal of the watch, as the curved links emulate the domed sapphire crystal. The bracelet finishes are identical to the case’s polished and satin finishes – offering a cohesive and warm overtone consistent with Capeland signature.  The 42mm models herein house automatic Valjoux 7753 calibers, while the 44mm versions house the automatic La Joux-Perret 8120 caliber. All models offer chronograph, tachymeter, telemeter and date display. The domed sapphire crystals are antiglare and scratch resistant. The sapphire crystal case back is secured with six screws and reveals the decorated oscillating weight with PHI symbol. They are water resistant to 5 ATM (approx. 50 meters).

The 42mm Capeland 10062 features a rich sun satin-finished black and snailed anthracite dial. The telemeter scale is bright red and the tachymeter scale is white. The 44mm Capeland, 10064, houses the automatic La Joux-Perret 8120 caliber. Its dial is sun satin-finished and snailed silver colored, with blue telemeter and black tachymeter scales.

• 2011, a new chapter for Baum e & Mercier

The Classima Executives line by Baume & Mercier is being enriched by five new models. With the new “Classima Executives Magnum XXL”, Baume & Mercier is now introducing two sophisticated and charismatic new chronographs in polished/satin-finished and sand-blasted steel or in steel with a black PVD coating, luminescent hands and hour-markers set against black dials, along with profiled pushers and natural vulcanized rubber straps.

• Classima Executives XL Dual Time Chronograph (8851)

Fitted with a black alligator leather strap, this classically elegant round chronograph displays the time in a second time zone by means of a central hand. Its steel case adorned with a crown bearing the Phi symbol frames a white dial with “appliqué” rhodium-plated Roman numerals and hour-markers. Its 30-minute chronograph counter is also stamped with the Phi symbol at 12 o’clock, while the hour counter appears at 6 o’clock and the date at 3 o’clock.

• Classima Executives XL Open Balance and Power Reserve (8869)

This model inspired by the finest watchmaking traditions is endowed with a high-end movement and equally noble finishes. An opening at 12 o’clock reveals the balance oscillating beneath the silver-colored dial with a “grain d’orge” guilloché décor, while the power reserve is displayed by an 18-carat red gold hand moving across a dedicated indicator at 6 o’clock. Sublimated by a circular snailed decorative motif, the hour circle is enlivened by black Roman numerals and hour-markers. The exhibition back provides a fascinating view of the mechanical self-winding movement adorned with “Côtes de Genève”, as well as circular-grained bridges and blued steel screws, in keeping with the norms of classic watchmaking. The crown proudly bears the Phi symbol.

• Classima Executives XL Chronograph and Complete Calendar (8870)

This traditionally and opulently finished chronograph is equipped with a high-end mechanical self-winding movement driving indications of a complete calendar (date with central pointer in 18-carat red gold, day and month through a window at 12 o’clock, moon phase at 6 o’clock) and 24h indicator at 9 o’clock. The silver-colored dial with a “grain d’orge” guilloché décor is graced with circular snailed and sun satin-finished counters. The case-back reveals an oscillating weight adorned with “Côtes de Genève”, as well as circular-grained bridges and blued steel screws. The crown proudly bears the Phi symbol.

• Classima Executives Magnum XXL Chronograph (8852)

Teamed with a black vulcanized rubber strap and equipped with a mechanical automatic movement, this sophisticated chronograph has been treated to a new XXL (44 mm) case design endowed with distinctive attributes. The fluted case in polished/satin-finished and sand-blasted steel is reinforced by profiled push-pieces. The screw-down case-back guarantees water-resistance to 200 meters. The black dial is equipped with riveted “appliqué” rhodium-plated hour-markers coated with Superluminova®* and bearing hollowed luminescent hands to ensure perfect readability. The fluted screw-down crown is adorned with the Phi symbol. The date appears at 6 o’clock, the chronograph counters at 3 o’clock (minutes) and 6 o’clock (hours), and the small seconds at 9 o’clock.

• Classima Executives Magnum XXL Chronograph Black PVD Steel (8853)

For this distinctive chronograph, Baume & Mercier has designed a new fluted case in black satin-finished and sand-blasted PVD-coated steel, accentuated by profiled push-pieces and driven by a mechanical self-winding movement. Screwed down to guarantee perfect water-resistance to 200 meters, the case-back is fitted with a triangular-shaped opening revealing the oscillating weight adorned with “Côtes de Genève”. The black dial is enlivened by riveted “appliqué” rhodium-plated hour-markers coated with Superluminova®*, along with luminescent hollowed hands ensuring optimal readability. The fluted screw-down crown is adorned with the Phi symbol. The date appears at 6 o’clock, the chronograph at 3 o’clock (minutes) and the small seconds at 9 o’clock.

Heritage and know-how

The William Baume collection is a tribute to time and its measurement. Through three outstanding Haute Horlogerie timepieces, it evokes the tradition of one of the ten oldest Swiss watch brands, Baume & Mercier, which dates back to 1830. A know-how embodied by William Baume, the man who forged the modern destiny of the brand and guided it to the point of obtaining the suprême watchmaking quality certification: the Poinçon de Genève or Geneva Hallmark.
