Immaculately white and immediately recognisable thanks to its rubber strap featuring the famous 1960s Dunlop Racing tyre-tread motif, the Mille Miglia Lady is a worthy descendant of its predecessors.

The collection’s signature characteristics are all present, although in a significantly more feminine mode thanks to a clever choice of colours and materials.

COSC-certified, the Mille Miglia Lady houses in a 42mm case, a mechanical self-winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve driving indications of the hours, minutes, date and small seconds, as well as a chronograph function with sweep seconds hand and 30-minute and 12-hour counters. Water-resistant to 50 metres, it is also available in an all-steel version.

A tribute to German automobile feats

In 2011, Chopard presented the Mille Miglia GT XL Chrono Rossa Corsa, a timepiece paying tribute to the red colour of classic Italian racing cars. The Racing Colours collection now welcomes the Speed Silver model, a timepiece featuring shimmering reflections reminiscent of the legendary German speed machines that dominated motor-racing competitions in the 1930s.

A new landmark in watchmaking history

The latest offering from Chopard Manufacture, the L.U.C 8HF model, is definitely bound for the history books as the exceptional timepiece introducing the new L.U.C 01.06-L, the first ever movement with a high-frequency escapement to be chronometer-certified by the COSC. Beating at a frequency of 8 Hz - compared with 4 Hz for ordinary mechanical movements - meaning 57,600 vibrations per hour, this mechanical movement was conceived, developed and perfected by Chopard Technologies in Fleurier.

  • Imperiale Tourbillon Full Set

The new Imperiale Tourbillon Full Set embodies a concentrated blend of watchmaking and jewellery expertise. Bearing the Poinçon de Genève quality, the hand-wound L.U.C 02.14-L calibre is equipped with four stacked and series coupled barrels. This patented Quattro® technology ensures over 9 days of autonomy and a constant regularity.

The new Imperiale Tourbillon Full Set drives the hour and minute hands, the small seconds visible on the 1-minute tourbillon visible at 6 o’clock, as well as a power-reserve indicator highlighted at 12 o’clock in an arc set with baguette-cut diamonds and amethysts. The 18-carat white gold is set using the snow setting technique. The white gold crown features baguette- and briolette-cut diamonds, while oval-cut cabochons and baguette-cut diamonds adorn the bezel, lugs and bracelet.

The elegantly understated Classic heralds a new collection at Chopard. This model is inspired by the magnificent pocket-watches that Louis-Ulysse Chopard had made his speciality, and symbolises the encounter between tradition and modernity.

Available in 18-carat rose, white or yellow gold, this timepiece with its refined exterior is equipped with the calibre Chopard 01.04-C, a new mechanical self-winding movement entirely developed in-house and produced in the workshops of Fleurier Ebauches. The calibre Chopard 01.04-C drives the hour and minute hands, along with small seconds and a date display at 3 o’clock. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it guarantees a generous 60-hour power reserve.

Ultra-thin transparency The latest addition to the XP line is the sophisticated and elegant L.U.C XP Skeletec epitomising the philosophy of essentials. Its mechanical self-winding movement, L.U.C Calibre 96.17-S, takes the art of meticulous workmanship to extreme lengths. This ultra-thin movement equipped with two barrels is the first skeletonised calibre produced by Chopard Manufacture. The L.U.C XP Skeletec watch is issued in a 288-piece limited series.

One of the most poetic models in the L.U.C collection, the L.U.C Lunar One model, a perpetual calendar with an orbital moon-phase display, embraces the line’s new aesthetic featuring generous curves, readability and comfort.

This refined style is matched by a peerless movement. Chronometer-certified by the COSC and stamped with the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark, the mechanical self-winding L.U.C 96.13-L (L.U.C 96QP) calibre housed within the L.U.C Lunar One model is endowed with an approximately 70-hour power reserve. It drives the hours, minutes, small seconds at 6 o’clock, a perpetual calendar with large twin-aperture date display at 12 o’clock, days of the week and 24-hour indication at 9 o’clock, as well as months and leap years at 3 o’clock.

  • Mille Miglia GT XL Chrono 2011 - The great sporting classic from Chopard

Chopard’s emblematic sports watch has come to symbolise the world’s most famous classic car rally, the Millie Miglia. The Mille Miglia Watch remains loyal to the annual event that has made it a classic in the field of luxury watchmaking. Immediately recognisable thanks to its natural rubber strap echoing the 1960s Dunlop Racing tyre-tread motif, it appears in 2011 in a 44 mm-diameter steel or 18-carat rose gold case housing a self-winding chronograph movement chronometer-certified by the COSC.

  • L.U.C 1937 - Paying tribute to understatement

For Chopard’s 150th anniversary, the Manufacture launched a limited edition of the L.U.C 1937 model – a mechanical tribute to the company’s watchmaking heritage. Two new versions of this steel watch, firmly rooted in the tradition of classic timepieces, are being introduced in 2011: one with a porcelain-type white dial and the other with a satin-finished silver-toned dial. Four new calibres to celebrate Chopard's 150th anniversary

In worthy celebration of its 150th anniversary, Chopard unveils four new proprietary mechanical movements designed, developed, fine-tuned and produced by Chopard Manufacture in Fleurier. These four new calibres beating at the heart of four new models introduced by Chopard lay a major new milestone marking the company's century and a half of existence.

  • L.U.C Calibre EHG – L.U.C Louis-Ulysse – The Tribute

This 148-part L.U.C Calibre EHG is a tribute to history, to craftsmanship and to the transmission of knowledge. Developed as collaboration between Chopard Manufacture and the Geneva Watchmaking School in order to help the students to create their “school project” marking the culmination of their studies and representing a major landmark in any watchmaking career. This mechanical hand-wound movement oscillates at a cadence of 21,600 vibrations per hour and is endowed with an over 80-hour power reserve. Driving the hour and minute hands as well as small seconds at 6 o'clock, L.U.C Calibre EHG is chronometer-certified by the COSC and also bears the prestigious Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark.

Inspired by a pocket-watch, but reinterpreted as a contemporary object, the L.U.C Louis-Ulysse – The Tribute model enshrines a century and a half of Chopard's horological heritage. This exceptional timepiece that is both a pocket-watch and a wristwatch features a blend of identity codes and draws inspiration from modern times while evoking some of Chopard's finest hours.

  • L.U.C Calibre 4TQE – L.U.C 150 « all in one »

Associating extreme complexity with superlative finishing, L.U.C Calibre 4TQE is composed of 516 parts! This exceptional multi-complication mechanical hand-wound movement houses four barrels ensuring a seven-day power reserve. Chronometer-certified by the COSC and bearing the prestigious Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark, the L.U.C Calibre 4TQE shows the hours, minutes, small seconds on the tourbillon, perpetual calendar with 24-hour indication, day of the week, date (through an aperture), month, leap year, power reserve, 24-hour indication, equation of time, sunrise and sunset times and moon phases.

  • L.U.C Calibre 1TRM – L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon

After this horological tour de force, and in a more contemporary and sporty vein, Chopard Manufacture has developed and fine-tuned an entirely original mechanical movement. L.U.C Calibre 1TRM – a mechanical hand-wound movement – is distinguished by an innovative design inspired by the automotive industry. In reference to the world of fine cars, the “engine block” featuring a reamed and sloping plate is engraved with the name “Chopard”. L.U.C Calibre 1TRM is mounted on shock-absorbing “silent blocks” – which absorb the shocks - and held in place by three lever-arms carved out of the case middle. Designed, developed and produced by Chopard Manufacture, L.U.C Calibre 1TRM beats at a cadence of 28, 800 vibrations per hour and boasts a 60-hour power reserve. The power-reserve display at 12 o'clock is positioned opposite the tourbillon bridge at 6 o'clock, shaped like a brake disc. Chronometer-certified by the COSC, this 209-part tourbillon movement drives displays of the hours, minutes, seconds and the power reserve.

  • L.U.C Calibre 1.010 – L.U.C 1937

Last but not least, L.U.C Calibre 1.010 represents a significant development feat linked to its suitability to industrial-scale production. Accurate, reliable, efficient and designed for easy assembly, this mechanical self-winding movement meets the most demanding market standards of performance, namely those of the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) and the Chronofiable tests. Representing the industrial wing of Chopard Manufacture and incorporating 207 parts, L.U.C Calibre 1.010 is distinguished by its crown at 4 o'clock, along with a 60-hour power reserve, 31 rubies and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Côtes de Genève and a L.U.C engraving set the finishing touches to this promising new movement.

  • Animal World Collection

In celebrating its 150th anniversary, Chopard is remaining loyal to its reputation for creativity by introducing an Haute Joaillerie collection on the theme of animals – a universe barely yet explored by the company. The result is a fabulous bestiary imbued with fanciful, fairytale creatures. This anniversary edition comprises 15 watches featuring an original design and testifying to Chopard's legendary inventiveness and expertise in the twin fields of fine jewellery and watchmaking. Each model is exclusively available in Chopard Boutiques in a limited and numbered edition of 15.

  • Grand Prix de Monaco Historique Chronograph 2010 - Aesthetic audacity and timekeeping performances

Like the classic cars that compete in this fascinating race, the 2010 edition of the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique Chronograph is a blend of bold aesthetics and mechanical performance. Featuring a black aluminium bezel that makes a striking contrast with its silver-coloured dial and fitted with a perforated leather strap, this chronograph is equipped with a mechanical self-winding movement chronometer-certified by the COSC. It pays tribute to the sporting spirit of this event uniting the finest classic racing cars and partnered by Chopard since 2002.

The Grand Prix de Monaco Historique Chronograph 2010 is available in steel either on a black perforated barenia strap complete with orange stitching, or on a steel bracelet, as well as in 18-carat rose gold on a perforated black barenia strap with blue stitching – a luxurious version in a limited edition of 250.

With the new Imperiale line, Chopard achieves the feat of enshrining the quintessence of style and elegance within a watch. For this reinterpretation of the brand’s famous 1990s model, the House has drawn inspiration from refined, dynamic and natural women with strong personalities who appreciate the discreet luxury of extremely beautiful objects.

The typical lug covers, have been entirely redesigned. The splendours of the imperial age are expressed through this sculptural timepiece. The delicately engraved mother-of-pearl dial base evokes the embroidered cushions on which monarchs used to place their insignia. It is encircled by Roman numerals representing “imperial” symbols marking off the hours. The hands are reminiscent of tapered daggers used by sovereigns in combat, while the lotus-shaped crown is fitted on a case middle with pure, uncluttered sides enhancing the ethereally light and luminous appeal of this model. In an ultimate touch of refinement, the lugs resembling antique columns are adorned with tiny amethyst briolette-cut cabochons for the rose gold versions and blue sapphires for the white gold models. The delicate royal purple shade of the stones echoes the colour of the transfers on the watch dial as well as the Chopard signature.

The 1000 Miglia Chronograph 2009 represents a return to historical roots. Inspired by an iconic model within collection, the first ever featuring the famous rubber strap designed after the Dunlop Racing tire from the 60s, this watch plays on classic shapes, optimal readability and understated elegance. Graced with a ruthenium dial and featuring a 42 mm-diameter stainless steel case, this sporty model is driven by a self-winding chronograph movement chronometer-certified by the COSC.

  • Happy Sport Chrono

The Happy Sport model is one of Chopard’s great classics. The latest version in this line is a chronograph model with a large dial that has introduced a sporty and innovative touch to the collection.

A watch made of ceramic, rose gold, diamonds and rubber. The rotating bezel, in 18ct rose gold, is fastened to a matte ceramic case surrounding five mobile diamonds that sparkle and dance on a chocolate-coloured dial.

The twist used to be a revolutionary dance, ahead of its times. An aptly chosen name for this original and dynamic timepiece that turns heads with its crown at 4 o’clock and its offset small seconds subdial at 7 o’clock. Nestling within its 18-carat gold case, the L.U.C Lunar Big Date exudes a poetic touch that will captivate the most seasoned connoisseurs. A horological complication in its own right, the moon phase attains such high accuracy that the difference between the actual lunar cycle and the indication of the timepiece amounts to just one day every 122 years. The various moon phases are visible for both Northern and Southern hemispheres through a particularly large aperture ensuring easy readability. In addition, the Northern part of the disc features the Big Dipper constellation, while the Southern part displays the Southern Cross.

A stylish yet simple letter C in polished gold is stamped on the Tourbillon bridge, both elegant and modern in appearance. Under the setting lies a magnificent movement, not only in terms of its complexity but also in terms of its aesthetic beauty. With four stacked barrels, a Chopard exclusive, the L.U.C 4T calibre allows the watch an exceptional power reserve of 9 days. The movement, entirely hand-decorated, is COSC certified and carries the Poinçon de Genève seal.

Carved from a block of titanium, generously shaped and resolutely dynamic, the 1000 Miglia GT XL Chrono Titanium will delight all devotees of fine sporting mechanisms. Its prominent natural black rubber strap with its 1960s Dunlop tyre tread motif is teamed with an ultra-light case in polished and brushed titanium (41 gr. lighter than its steel equivalent), expressing a glowing tribute to mechanical sports.

The L.U.C Strike One is an eye-catching timepiece, unusual in design and unique in function. Equipped with a complex hammer and gong device, this watch strikes once at every change of the hour. A 12 o’clock opening in the gold dial provides a glimpse of the sophisticated striking mechanism where the working of the hammer can be admired. After a long series of fine adjustments, the master-watchmakers of Chopard Manufacture succeeded in producing a pure and crystal-clear sound.
