  • Tourbillon with three gold Bridges

Quintessence of the art of watchmaking

Complicated watchmaking is the quintessence of the art of watchmaking. For over two centuries now, GIRARD-PERREGAUX has won renown for its many remarkable creations, among them the emblematic Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridges. From the research and development stage right through to the final adjustments made by our master watchmakers, the Manufacture continues to enrich its heritage through its Haute Horlogerie collection.

  • Vintage 1945

Well before the vintage look had permeated all trends, Girard-Perregaux conceived a collection inspired by the retro forms of one of its Art deco style watches from 1945. Since then, a variety of versions have embodied modern interpretations of the unique personality of the Vintage 1945 line, with an incredible wealth of details. This timeless, classic Girard-Perregaux model, adorning the wrists of discerning connoisseurs worldwide, is distinguished by its undeniable elegance. Its aesthetic beauty opened the way for numerous variants, differing in both size and range of functions. Available in both men's and women's versions, in 2002 it featured a Tourbillon with three gold Bridges for the very first time. The year 2007 saw the Vintage 1945 take on a modern interpretation of this line's unique character, with the adoption of a square case.

  • Girard-Perregaux 1966

In the 1960s, Girard-Perregaux was one of the very few watchmaking Manufactures to have its own Research & Development team. In 1966, it launched the first High Frequency movement, operating at 36,000 vibrations/hour which would provide exceptionally accurate performance. That same year, the Neuchâtel State Council decided to recognise the work and developments of Girard-Perregaux by awarding the Brand the Observatory Centenary Prize.

The Girard-Perregaux 1966 collection pays tribute to this era, incorporating the fruits of the Manufacture's ongoing commitment to innovation, with its modern self-winding calibres and particularly elegant cases.

  • ww.tc

In 2000, Girard-Perregaux presented a chronograph design with a world times indicator. This model ww.tc (world wide time control) was based on an ingenious coupling mechanism capable of driving a ring displaying the time in 24 time zones. While retaining its strong aesthetic lines,
the collection incorporated new complications and features : in 2005, an Haute Horlogerie model was released, with a Tourbillon with three gold Bridges, while one version incorporated a power reserve indicator. The year 2006 saw the appearance of the ww.tc perpetual calendar, and in 2007, Girard-Perregaux presented the ww.tc Financial and a women's version of the collection. This development continued with a model with a small second hand, and variations featuring previously unused materials such as titanium and ceramic.

  • Laureato

The Laureato line is a modern interpretation of a sports watch design created in 1975. Its bold design is a return to the aesthetic of the sports watches seen in the 1970s, with an octagonal bezel and an integrated metal bracelet. Whilst remaining true to its strong lines, which are immediately recognisable, this collection has evolved over time, especially in terms of ergonomics
and the type of movement offered. Its elegance represents a dynamic statement in our modern world.

  • Cat's Eye

The Cat’s Eye collection proves that feminine shapes lend themselves wonderfully to complication watches. Since its creation in 2004, it has brought together the Manufacture's movements and graceful designs, made all the more stunning by precious materials. The line includes models with a power reserve indicator, and one version with a moon phase indicator. The "Bi-Retro" is characterised by two retrograde hands displaying the seconds and days of the week, while the latest creation beautifully displays the time, lunar cycle and zodiac cycle.
