Historic and thematic exhibitions worldwide
The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie, in consultation with its local delegations, proposes "ready-to-use" travelling exhibitions on selected themes. They introduce the general public to the heritage of Fine Watchmaking, its history, its contemporary expression and its professions. These exhibitions present historically important timepieces from museum collections alongside contemporary creations by the Foundation's partner-brands
The Foundation has been invited to stage exhibitions at fairs including:
- Belles Montres, Paris
- Salon International Alta Relojeria (SIAR), Mexico City
- Munich Time
- Vienna Time, Vienna
- Kremlin 2011, Moscow - 21st of October to 10th of November 2011
The Foundation is also present at special events, such as:
- Watches & Wonders, Beijing, Forbidden City – September 2004
- L’Alta Orlogeria a Roma, Rome, Palazzo Incontro – October 2007
- World Expo, Shanghai, Swiss Cities Pavilion – September 2010
- Timecrafters, New York - 13th to 15th of May 2011
- Swiss Watch at JCK, Las Vegas - 2nd to 6th of June 2011
- SalonQP, London - 10th to 12th of November 2011
These exhibitions are completed by guided tours, talks and initiation to watchmaking workshops.
