Son of Pierre Jaquet Droz.
Associated with his father and adopted brother, Jean Frédéric Leschot.
Renowned for making watches with automatons and singing birds.

1768-1774
Construction, with Pierre Jaquet Droz and Jean Frédéric Leschot of several automatons including the “writer” (6,000 parts), the “lady musician” (2,500 parts) and the “draughtsman” (2,000 parts), now kept at the Museum of Art and History at Neuchâtel (Switzerland).
