Purchaser
Passing from supplier to supplier, the purchaser ensures that the company benefits from a constant supply of stock. At each visit, he/she negotiates prices and delivery times to obtain high quality supplies under the best economic and technical conditions. His/her presence on-site is part of a strategy formulated in advance that ensures regular deliveries. The purchaser strives for total transparency, has perseverance and fine diplomatic skills. An engineering qualification or business-orientated training is required for this profession.
- Bachelor’s degree in management, 3 years – see university business studies – 2 years of experience in a similar field.
- Bachelor of science degree HES-SO (University of Applied Sciences, Western Switzerland) in business administration, (bachelor and master) 3 years – see management schools, 2 years of experience in a similar field.
