Repair Manager
As soon as a defective item is sent back to the manufacturing unit, the repair manager becomes involved. He/she monitors the repair process step by step, beginning with an analysis of the demands and the formulation of an quote. Once an inventory of the necessary operations has been drawn up, he/she initiates and monitors their application. When all the problems have been resolved, he/she organises the dispatch of the item. Sending progress reports to customers and compiling flow reports are also part of the repair manager’s job. Organisational skills and rigour are necessary for successfully completing his/her tasks. This profession is accessible to anyone who holds a Swiss business employee certificate.
