Product Development Manager
The product development manager oversees the creation of new products. Downstream, he/she helps to implement the brand’s strategy according to its orientations. Next, he/she implements projects and monitors their progress, before finally managing the concluding phase of a launch. A key figure in the promotion of the brand’s values, he/she manages several employees to whom he/she extends support in order to achieve a set of fixed objectives. Aware of the latest design trends and competitors’ techniques, he/she directs design choices based on his/her analyses. With a degree in industrial management or microtechnical engineering, the product development manager also benefits from technical training in watchmaking or in project management. With several years of experience in this area, he/she demonstrates an excellent ability to adapt to circumstances and people and is pragmatic, rigorous and precise.
