Quality Director
At the heart of the company, the quality director has permission to do whatever it takes in order to guarantee production quality. The embodiment of the company’s visions and values, he/she introduces strategies to guarantee and improve the level of production quality. The quality director is involved in the development of new models and gives his/her authorisation for manufacturing to begin, which can be revoked at any time if the level of quality proves insufficient. He/she is also asked to create assessment tools and training methods that will help obtain detailed analyses and optimise staff shift changes or replacements. This profession also requires good team management, an ability to be attentive to employees and ideas for developing a pleasant working environment. A high degree of technical training complemented by knowledge of quality tools and systems are necessary to become a quality director. A good quality director communicates easily and has good interpersonal skills.

Education in engineering (see “engineer”), 5 years of managerial experience in a similar position, knowledge of timepieces and their production environment.
