Workshop / Line Manager
The workshop or “line” manager assists the production team or the after-sales services staff. He/she motivates colleagues to achieve their fixed objectives, evaluates their needs and encourages them if necessary. The workshop manager is always readily available, communicates easily and knows how to encourage other people to take on responsibility. He/she also implements new manufacturing processes and ensures that quality standards are respected. Education in engineering is necessary for the position of workshop manager.
