The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie was created to actively promote, through information and training, the heritage and values of mechanical technical and precious Fine Watches throughout the world.

A vocation such as this means the Foundation has a role to play at every stage in a watch's life, from the original concept to the retailer to after-sales service. How a Fine Watch is presented to a customer, and the ability of sales teams to guide customers in their choice, are of the highest interest to the Foundation.

The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie has therefore developed the International Expert-Consultant Certificate as a means of identifying, country by country, specialist sales staff who excel in the art of promoting and selling Fine Watches.

The Expert-Consultant Certificate is of uniquely important value within the profession, because it is recognised by the leading watch companies, retailers and the Foundation's Ambassadors in each country. It gives its holders privileged access to certain events and activities organised by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie, and is an asset in terms of communication.
