Inspired by one of the very last pocket watches to be made by Bovet, an "easel" chronometer from the 1930s, the aptly-named 19Thirty is an invitation to step back in time. BOVET has chosen steel to craft the case of this classic watch - a red gold version with Fleurier case is also proposed - in a nod to the very first wristwatches that made widespread use of steel, as much for its mechanical properties as for its resistance. The 19Thirty's classic style and remarkable chronometric performance make further reference to the original "easel" chronometer. Housed inside the Fleurier case, immediately recognisable by the bow at 12 o'clock, or in the traditional Dimier case is a specially developed, hand-wound proprietary movement. It delivers a seven-day power reserve which it draws from a single barrel. A mechanical prowess which BOVET proposes in a multitude of renditions.
