All three versions of this El Primero Sport belong to the grand tradition of sports chronographs. The 45 mm case houses the self-winding El Primero 400 B calibre beating at 36,000 vibrations/hour, a DNA it shares with the original El Primero chrono launched in 1969. The rhodium-plated, facetted hour-markers with Super-LumiNova® clearly stand out against the silver-toned or slate grey dial with a lamé hand finish, an updated version of a traditional technique. They ensure easy reading of the central hours and minutes which are swept by imposing, sword-shaped hands. The same aesthetic is picked up on the small counter hands which are arranged so as to optimise reading of Chronograph times. The tachymeter scale on the flange adds the final touch.
