Every event which the Foundation proposes is designed to welcome, astonish and surprise, to share knowledge and highlight the skills of watchmaking, through creativity and expertise.
A luxurious atmosphere, an exclusive exhibition of outstanding timepieces, seamless organisation… Since 1990, professionals from all over the world have travelled to Geneva for the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, where they discover the latest creations and newest trends in watchmaking.
Held in Hong Kong, since 2013 Watches & Wonders has made its mark as a key date in the watchmaking calendar. Relaxing lounge areas, hands-on workshops, stunning booths and media services make Watches & Wonders a not-to-be-missed event for professionals and public alike.
Probing the issues on the watch industry radar, each year researchers, academics, economists, scientists, politicians or writers meet at the Forum to spark debate and bring ideas into the open. The objective of the Forum is to fuel reflection and shed an original light on the future of the Fine Watchmaking professions.
From the very first sundials to contemporary complication mechanisms, The Mastery of Time traces our relationship with time from a historical and scientific perspective, and provides a fascinating opportunity to learn how the history of watchmaking and the history of mankind are entwined.
The FHH has put together an exciting programme for Dubai Watch Week with two exhibitions: "The Mastery of Time" and "24 Hours in the Life of a Swiss Cuckoo Clock". Visitors can reflect on the history of time measurement, then enjoy the sound of 18 remarkable contemporary cuckoo clocks as part of Dubai's watchmaking event of the year.
Presented each year, these two distinctions turn the spotlight on outstanding personalities whose achievements, dedication and expertise have contributed to the eminence of Fine Watchmaking.
