To coincide with Swiss Day Against Counterfeitng, the organisers launched two short film competitions and one posters competition, on the theme “All together Against Fakes”.
The purpose of this day is to make the general public more aware of this serious issue, while also providing an opportunity to thank and encourage everyone who refuses to play into the hands of the pirates and counterfeiters and refrains from buying their products.
For the year 2013, the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry (FH) had the task of organizing this day with the help of the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH).
The FH also wished to associate two other Swiss sectors, which are themselves seriously affected, with this event: the pharmaceutical and audiovisual sectors, represented by the associations which defend their interests, i.e. Interpharma/Swissmedic et SAFE.
