Creation of the Leroy 01 watch, the most complicated watch at the time (975 parts), now kept at the Time Museum in Besançon.
Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, time in 125 cities in the world, day of the week, month, year, moon phases, seasons, solstices and equinoxes, state of the sky in the 2 hemispheres, time of sunrise and sunset, great chime, chronograph. In addition, five non-watch-related functions: hygrometer, thermometer, barometer, altimeter and compass.
