1858 Geosphere Limited Edition 1858
Montblanc 2018
Mont Blanc is, as any geography student knows, the highest mountain in the Alps. To celebrate the 160th anniversary of its Minerva Haute Horlogerie Manufacture, part of Montblanc since its takeover by Richemont in 2006, the watch firm has dedicated this new model to the Seven Summits climb, the ultimate mountaineering challenge. The seven peaks are symbolised by as many red dots on the two domed hemisphere globes. Rotating once every 24 hours, one clockwise and one anti-clockwise, they indicate world times. The longitude reference meridian for both hemispheres is highlighted in luminescent white. There is also a second time zone display at 9 o'Clock, together with a date window at 3 o'clock. Proposed in steel or as a limited edition in bronze.
