Academia Tourbillon Force Constante à Chaîne

The Tourbillon Force Constante à Chaîne is an icon among DeWitt timepieces. Its starting-point was the Tourbillon à Force Constante, launched in 2006, which ensures a regular flow of energy to the movement.

DeWitt introduced an innovative system that relays this energy to the power-reserve indicator. The rotation of the crown when winding the mainspring drives a miniature chain whose 192 parts, via an intermediate wheel, operate the power-reserve indicator which slides on a worm screw.
