IWC: Aquatimer Split Minute/1967
For 40 years, the engineers at IWC have been addressing the subject of the diver's watch and water resistance. With their spirited commitment to extreme applications and their passion for unusual inventions, the engineers at IWC had already developed the first diver's watch in 1967: the Aquatimer. This marked the start of a successful series of diver's watches, which caused a major splash among watch and sport enthusiasts.
Engineering technology and horological expertise serve as the basis for reliable diving companions. The relaunch of the Aquatimer in 2004 took place in close relationship with The Cousteau Society.
