This métiers d'art watch by Hermès comes in an Arceau case with asymmetric lugs, executed in white gold and set with 82 diamonds on the bezel. Its most striking feature, however, is the porcelain dial that has been hand-carved and hand-painted with two horses, decked out in sumptuous harnesses and plumes. The design echoes the central motif of the Hermès Harnais Français Remix silk scarf, itself inspired by a work in the private collection of Emile Hermès. The horses' profiles are carved on bisque Limoges porcelain, following which the different enamel colours are applied to this unglazed surface. Each colour is fixed by firing in the kiln before the next is applied. The 24 watches in this limited edition are individually numbered and fitted with the in-house H1912 automatic movement.
