For this interpretation of the Arceau watch, Hermès has imagined another playful way to track the passing of time. A rotating circle passes before a fixed crescent moon to reveal the hours. This moon, crafted from natural white mother-of-pearl with luminescence, is silhouetted against the darkness of a glossy black dial with sunburst finish. Minutes are given by a rhodium-plated central hand that sweeps the Constellation of Pegasus, each of its stars symbolised by a dot of luminescent mother-of-pearl. Proposed as a limited edition of 300, this Arceau Ronde des Heures comes as a black PVD-coated case in brushed steel, measuring 36mm in diameter and circled with 66 black spinels. The movement is quartz.
