Aviator 8 AVI Ref. 765 1953 Re-Edition

Breitling 2020

ref. AB0920131B1X1
Men's

Breitling launched the Co-Pilot in 1953 as a descendant of the onboard instruments made by Breitling's HUIT Aviation department in the 1930s and 1940s, already the inspiration for the Aviator 8 collection. This AVI Ref. 765 1953 reissue is true to the iconic original in almost every detail, the only differences being the improved water-resistance at 3 bars (30 metres/100 feet) and the "GENEVE" wording that no longer appears on the dial. The movement, Breitling Manufacture Calibre B09, is a manually-wound Chronograph movement derived from the Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01. Like all Breitling movements, it has chronometer-grade certification from the COSC. Hands and numerals are coated with Super-LumiNova®. A limited edition of 1,953 pieces.
