Big Bang Integral Tourbillon Full Sapphire

Hublot 2021

ref. 455.JX.0120.JX
Men's

Hublot released its first sapphire-cased watch in 2016, and has continued to demonstrate its advanced competencies in this domain ever since. This Big Bang Full Sapphire takes the concept to another level, being made entirely from sapphire (second only to diamond for hardness), from case to bracelet, from movement bridges to mainplate. The bracelet is an exploit in itself, assembled from 165 components including 22 in sapphire. The tiny titanium inserts were designed specifically so as not to protrude and be visible inside the sapphire links. The movement is the HUB6035, with the micro-rotor at 12 o’Clock forming a vertical axis with the tourbillon at 6 o’clock. The movement has been skeletonised to the extreme, to further accentuate the transparency of this 30-piece limited edition.
