Chanel's haute couture, as imagined by Mademoiselle Chanel herself, constitutes an immensurable source of inspiration for the brand's Paris creation studio, which has "dressed" the dial of the Boy∙Friend watch in tweed. Not just any tweed, though. For this new interpretation, in three limited editions of 20 pieces each, Grand Feu enamel takes the place of the signature fabric. Meticulously crafted by enamel artist Anita Porchet, tweed's multiple colours and texture come to life on delicately painted dials. Such an elegant geometry is trimmed with beige gold, prolonged by a red satin strap, and swept by hour and minute hands. A manually-wound movement keeps time.
