Chronomat B01 Chronograph 44
Breitling 2018
When the Breitling Chronomat launched in 1942, it became the first Chronograph watch with a logarithmic slide rule. This pioneering tool watch originated with the HUIT Aviation Department that Willy Breitling set up specifically to make aviation instruments. Now a full-fledged collection, the Chronomat continues its ascension with the imposing Chronomat B01 Chronograph 44. Water-resistant to 500 metres, it comes equipped with the COSC-certified in-house B01 calibre. Subsidiary seconds at 9 o'Clock, 30-minute and 12-hour counters contrast with the blue dial. The oversized bullet-shaped crown takes its cue from pilot watches that have to be easy to handle with gloves on. Cased in steel, it comes as a second version with a grey dial.
