Named Byblos after the legendary Lebanese city, this blue chronometer marks the opening of the 10th F.P. Journe boutique in Beirut. For the very first time, a dial opens to reveal its gold movement graced with a guilloché decor. The chronometer with its blue chapter ring depicts the Mediterranean sky and its fiery sun. Writing the letter J for Journe in the Phoenician alphabet means it evokes the hand and thus artisanship. J is also the 10th letter of the alphabet and thus ideally representative of the brand’s 10th boutique. Issued in a 99-piece limited edition with a tantalum case, the Chronomètre Bleu Byblos is available exclusively from F.P. Journe boutiques.
