DB28 Steel Wheels
De Bethune 2018
Over the years, the DB28 has become the symbol of De Bethune watchmaking... and winner of the Aiguille d'Or 2011, the highest distinction at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève. It returns this year as the Steel Wheels, a skeletonised version inside a titanium case, only 25 of which will be made. The openworked double barrel, which delivers six full days of power reserve, highlights the transparency of the 2115V4 calibre, as does the cutout in De Bethune's signature delta-shaped bridge. As always, state-of-the-art technology is central to this watch, evidenced by the high-performance titanium balance with white-gold inserts, the silicon escape wheel, the De Bethune balance spring, and the triple pare-chute shock absorber. The precision spherical moon, crafted from palladium and blued steel, presides at 6 o'Clock – another distinguishing feature that leaves no doubt as to the provenance of this watch.
