Easy is never an option for Greubel Forsey. In 2009, the two watchmakers from La Chaux-de-Fonds presented a prototype version of their inclined Double Balancier, whose two regulating organs were positioned one above the other. They came to this year's SIHH with a redeveloped version. Now occupying distinct and separate planes, the two balance wheels give this watch an even more theatrical construction. They are connected by a Constant Spherical Differential which averages differences in their rates. A rotation indicator fitted to the differential makes one complete turn in four minutes. Incredibly, the minute track, numerals, markers and power-reserve indication are all in champlevé Grand Feu enamel.
