EXCALIBUR perpetual calendar-minute repeater and tourbillon
Roger Dubuis 2007
Roger Dubuis: Excalibur perpetual calendar-minute repeater and tourbillon/2007
Mechanical self-winding movement with minute and striking dissipator, straight-line instant-jump perpetual calendar displays, dual time zone, moon phases.
Clothed in the splendid Excalibur case, the movement of this exclusive model, bearing the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark, is a true symphony of complications.
Equipped with an ingenious push button winding system, the striking mechanism has a dissipator device which eliminates the friction noise and gives the sound exceptional purity. The perpetual calendar correctors are cleverly integrated into the attachment for the striking button and lateral crown shield, and the dual time zone is adjusted by the coaxial crown. The flying tourbillon can be admired through the caseback fitted with a sapphire crystal and the self-winding movement features a double rotor in platinum. Also available in pink gold, this model is issued in limited series of 28, in harmony with the brand's fundamental principle of exclusivity.
