Excalibur Spider Pirelli Double Flying Tourbillon

Roger Dubuis 2017

Men's

Excalibur Spider Pirelli Double Tourbillon Volant square

Roger Dubuis' Double Flying Tourbillon morphs into a

lean, mean racing machine for this eight-piece limited edition that embodies

the watchmaker's partnership with the sole supplier of tyres for the Formula 1

world championship. This rugged timepiece, whose 47-mm skeleton case is hewn

from a block of black DLC titanium, doesn’t just carry the Pirelli name. Its

strap is made with winning motorsport tyre rubber: a piece of eternity,

stitched in blue to mirror the vulcanised rubber accents on the case and crown.

On the mechanical side, the eye is immediately drawn to the two flying

tourbillons that are rimmed by seconds counters. Above them, the signature

Astral Skeleton stands out in blue, in reference to the unique Pirelli design

features.
