Is it because the tourbillon continues to fascinate
watch enthusiasts that Laurent Ferrier has chosen to share its secrets? On this
our sense of sight as our sense of touch, a generous tourbillon takes pride of
place at 6 o'Clock. A mesmerising feat of mechanics that lays itself bare from
both sides of the movement. Viewed from the front, its meticulously executed
forms – a full 15 hours to complete the 17 inner angles – meet a pristine
satin-brushed dial. From the reverse side, it continues to reveal all amidst
movement decorations that can only be the work of a master's hand.
