IWC: Grande Complication/1990
In the first 100 years of its existence, IWC became known mainly for the consistent high degree of perfection of its pocket watches and wristwatches. True to its old motto: "Probus Scafusia" - Good, solid craftsmanship from Schaffhausen.
Since 1990, the Grande Complication from IWC has only been produced in an annual maximum of 50 numbered pieces with a platinum or yellow gold case. Its history and its fascinating technical details are actually documented in a magnificent book, which each owner receives along with his watch as the most comprehensive instruction manual ever produced.
