This watch, which crowns the 225th anniversary of Girard-Perregaux, has carved out a special place in the brand's history. This is, after all, the first time the signature golden bridge has been seen above a Microvar variable-inertia balance, for the ultimate in precision. Furthermore, the Heritage Place Girardet captures moments in history, both the history of watchmaking and that of mankind, through 225 unique dials. Each boasts a gold plate that has been engraved with a year between 1791 and 2016; a historic event that took place that year is inscribed in the centre. The individual nature of each dial is further highlighted by several series of design with distinctive styles of hour marker, minute scale and decoration. Classic and elegant in pink gold, only the case has spanned every year in history since 1791.
