Insight Micro-Rotor Squelette

Romain Gauthier 2020

Men's

When a brand is renowned for hand-finishing, as is the case of Romain Gauthier, it makes sense that a watch intended to celebrate an important milestone – the 15th anniversary of its founding in 2005 – should show off these capabilities. The skeletonised bridges and baseplate, in titanium, of the Insight Micro-Rotor Squelette reveal the fascinating details of this contemporary watch's mechanics: an in-house movement powering displays of hours, minutes and small seconds. Each calibre is finished by hand: the anglage alone takes as much as 250 hours to complete. The 42mm case in Carbonium®, a carbon composite made from fibres sourced from the aerospace industry, immediately catches the eye with its distinctive marbled pattern. This "Manufacture Only" edition can be personalised. A smaller 39.5mm version is also proposed with a case in precious metal, such as 18k red gold or 950 platinum.
