A. Lange & Söhne made its triumphant return in 1994 with the Lange 1 – instantly recognisable by its large jumping date display and off-centre hours and minutes dial. Twenty-five years on, the brand is celebrating the advent of this now iconic watch with a special collection. While the Lange 1's characteristic design has remained virtually unchanged throughout these years, this edition in white gold stands out for its argenté-coloured dial printed with blue numerals, blue numerals for the date display, and an engraved hinged back that opens to reveal the intricacies of the movement – namely the L121.1. First presented in 2015, this manual-winding calibre is here distinguished by the hand-engraving on the balance cock: an outsize date showing "25". A fine symbol for this limited edition of 250 pieces.
