Laureato

Girard-Perregaux 2017

Men's

Laureato square

After its 1975 debut, followed by several decades

lying dormant, the Laureato jumped back into the spotlight when it made its

comeback in 2016 as a highly successful limited edition. A year later,

Girard-Perregaux puts its vintage silhouette centre-stage again with a complete

collection of close to 30 references. Among them, the Laureato 42 mm in steel takes

in all the attributes of the original. With a polished octagonal bezel on an

integrated case, a steel bracelet whose wide, satin-finish H-links alternate

with domed centre links, and a blue dial with Clous de Paris decoration, the

Laureato brings Seventies style up to date… minus the quartz movement that

equipped the very first Laureato. For fans of mechanical, this new reference is

driven by an in-house manufactured automatic movement.
