Master Control Calendar

Jaeger-LeCoultre 2020

ref. Q4148420
Men's

Jaeger-LeCoultre was renowned throughout the 1940s and 1950s for its triple calendar moon-phase watches - a speciality brought up-to-date in the Master Control Calendar. Introduced in 1992, the Master Control collection was, incidentally, the first to benefit from the brand's 1000 Hours Control certification, which tests the finished and cased watch. Housed inside a steel case, with a second execution in Grand Rose gold, the Jaeger-LeCoultre 866 automatic calibre with indications of day, date, month and moon phases introduces a novel complication: every month, the date hand makes a 90° leap from the 15th to the 16th, leaving an unobstructed view of the moon-phase display.
