Master Grande Tradition Grande Complication
Jaeger-LeCoultre 2020
For the past 150 years, minute repeaters have been at the forefront of Jaeger-LeCoultre's complication watches, an expertise illustrated by this Master Grande Tradition Grande Complication. Proposed as two limited editions of eight, in pink gold or in white gold, it also incorporates an orbital flying tourbillon. In addition to turning once on itself in 60 seconds, the tourbillon makes one anticlockwise revolution of the dial every sidereal day. This mechanism in turn causes the star chart disk to rotate. A pointer on the periphery indicates the date, the month and the signs of the zodiac. As for the minute repeater, its cathedral crystal gongs are fixed directly to the sapphire crystal to further amplify the sound.
