Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon Moon

Jaeger-LeCoultre 2021

ref. Q1692410
Unisex

In addition to a tourbillon, the new Calibre 983 movement with automatic winding that powers the Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon Moon is equipped with two further complications: moon phases and a jumping date. Positioned in the upper segment of the dial, the astronomical indicator shows moon phases in the Northern Hemisphere by way of the traditional gold disc. Surrounding it is a ring with, on the left, applied Southern Hemisphere moon phases and, on the right, the age of the moon. For the peripheral date display, the Manufacture’s engineers have chosen a pointer indicator which, every month, jumps 90 degrees from the 15th to the 16th so as not to obscure the tourbillon. Jaeger-LeCoultre has cased this Master Ultra Thin timepiece in Le Grand Rose gold, a pink gold alloy with remarkable depth of colour, while the dial is in eggshell white.
