Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Edition "Le Petit Prince"
This combination of a perpetual calendar with a Chronograph is a first in IWC's Pilot's Watch collection and a feat in itself. Doing so without detracting from legibility adds to the challenge. Four subdials in a conventional layout indicate the date, day, month, year and moon phase without any need for adjustment until 2100. The moon-phase display has been cleverly incorporated into the chronograph totalizer at 12 o'Clock. Despite the complexity of the mechanism, IWC has chosen an elegantly subdued aesthetic, from the midnight blue dial set in the large, red gold case to the brown calfskin strap with white top stitching. A true classic.
