In addition to sleek lines and a matching stealth treatment, this new Chronograph, part of the TOP GUN line, lives up to Elite pilots' requirements with an innovative material. Its name? Ceratanium. Developed by IWC's R&D division, it has the hardness and scratch-resistance of ceramic, the strength and light weight of titanium. Components are first machined from this titanium-based alloy, then heat-treated. As well as its advantageous physical properties, Ceratanium develops an attractive mat black colour which accentuates the technical personality of this split-seconds chronograph with date and day displays.
