Nautilus Perpetual Calendar Ref. 5740/1G-001
Patek Philippe 2018
After incorporating a Chronograph, travel time and an annual calendar, Patek Philippe has given the Nautilus its first ever "GRAND COMPLICATION". The white gold case, water-resistant to 60 metres, retains its characteristic shape thanks to the automatic 240 Q movement inside: the thinnest of the brand's perpetual calendars at 8.42mm high. The three calendar subdials - showing day and 24-hour indication at 9 o'Clock, month and leap year at 3 o'clock, and date and moon phases at 6 o'clock – sit beautifully inside the rounded octagon of the dial, which shares the same sunburst blue as the styles released in 2016 for the Nautilus's 40th anniversary. Through a system of deflection mechanisms, the perpetual calendar correctors have been repositioned to smoothly integrate the Nautilus case.
