Navitimer 8 B01

Breitling 2018

ref. AB011713
Men's

Breitling's most recent collection, the Navitimer 8 takes its name from the HUIT Aviation Department ("huit" being French for "eight") that was set up in 1938 to produce cockpit instruments as well as civilian and military pilot's watches. Willy Breitling named the department "Huit" after the eight days of power reserve of its onboard clocks. Every watch that came out of the department was subjected to a battery of tough tests, including high temperatures and heavy vibrations. This new Navitimer 8 B01 is driven by the B01, Breitling's first in-house Chronograph movement that debuted in 2009, and is chronometer-certified by the COSC. Note the three chronograph registers in a contrasting colour for easy legibility – a hallmark of a Breitling watch. Also available in gold.
