- Astronomical indications
The Ocean collection is where Harry Winston reinterprets watchmaking's classic complications as contemporary, sport-style timepieces that emphasise colour and different planes. For the collection's 20th anniversary, the New-York brand is adapting the perpetual calendar for a bi-retrograde display. Day and date are shown in sections at 9 o'Clock and 3 o'clock respectively. Off-centre hands sweep the edge of the dial, bottom to top for the day, top to bottom for the date, then instantly jump back to their starting point. Months are displayed on a subdial at 12 o'clock which also includes a leap-year indication. A window at 6 o'clock keeps track of moon phases. Proposed in white gold or pink gold, this new Ocean watch is also offered as a 20-piece anniversary edition in a white gold case with an embellishment of baguette-cut diamonds on the bezel and lugs.
