Oyster Perpetual Explorer II

Rolex 2021

ref. 226570
Men's

Rolex reaches new summits of performance with this execution of the Oyster Perpetual Explorer II, a watch originally created in 1971 to accompany explorers to the furthest corners of the globe, often in extreme conditions. This robust model has been given a fresh new look thanks to the redesigned 42mm steel case and bracelet. Note the orange 24-hour hand that combines with the engraved 24-hour scale on the bezel to clearly distinguish between day and night times. In certain conditions, this 24-hour display enables the watch to be used as a compass. Importantly, it can also serve to show a second time zone. A date window, at 3 o’Clock on the white lacquer dial, is magnified by a Cyclops lens. Legibility is further enhanced by the Chromalight display for the hour markers and hands, which are driven by the in-house Calibre 3285 with automatic winding.
