IWC: Portugieser Perpetual Calendar
The new Portugieser Perpetual Calendar with double moon phase features the customary display of the date, day of the week, month and four-digit year, but the mirror-style depiction of the lunar cycles in the northern and southern hemispheres has been modified. For the first time, the countdown mode indicating the number of days remaining until the next full moon has been dropped. Instead, the designers have dreamed up a star-studded night sky matching the dial colour, on which they have integrated a railroad-type minute track typical of classical models. The new midnight blue or slate grey dials are thus even more understated and elegant.
