Portugieser Yacht Club Moon & Tide
Launched in 2010, the Yacht Club introduces a sporty note to the venerable Portugieser collection. This Moon & Tide execution is the first to feature IWC's newly developed tide indicator. A subdial at 6 o'Clock shows the times of the next high and low tides. The perpetual moon-phase display for the northern and southern hemispheres has been augmented to show spring and neap tides, thus giving an idea of the strength of the coming tides. Spring tides, which bring unusually high water, occur at each full moon and new moon. An additional module has been fitted to the in-house IWC 82835 calibre. Automatic Pellaton winding with ceramic components delivers a power reserve of 60 hours.
