The creativity imbued in the brand by its founder, Mr Harry Winston, is given particular prominence in the Premier collection, which explores the artistic crafts. Premier Feathers revisited plumasserie or feather art. This year, another rare art takes pride of place: the dial of the Premier Precious Butterfly is adorned with delicate, iridescent powder from butterfly wings. Using a technique that took three years to master, these pigments are carefully transferred to each dial to create stunning miniature tableaux whose vibrant colours are accentuated by the 57 brilliant-cut diamonds set around the bezel.
